Ahoy! Landlubbers beware of pirates running wild!
A local museum here has a fantastic pirate exhibit currently that is very kid friendly. The kids can dress up like pirates, hoist up their jolly roger flags, and pretend to be pirates on a life-like pirate boat. Dylan and Zoe enjoyed the pirate exhibit so much that we've been twice in a matter of days!
What? Do I hear enemy pirates coming?
No fear! I'm at the capstan.
I have the gun powder ready!
Hmm...I'm contemplating my tactics for those scurvy pirates.
Who can hoist up the jolly roger the fastest?
Have you ever seen a cuter pirate girl? This face isn't going to scare off any enemy pirates.
Don't talk to me, I'm busy at work here.
Ok, it's Cap'n Zoe's turn to lower the anchor.
Cap'n Dylan! ARGH!
It's friendly pirates. Ahoy mateys! Come on aboard!
Why say "argh" to our friendly pirates when you can say "cheese?"
Ok, I'll use the capstan and pull up our anchor so we can all set sail.
We're the co-captains of this ship. Cap'n Zoe and Cap'n Dylan. Welcome!
Using the capstan is a two person job, so let Cap'n Zoe come to help.
Check out Zoe's expression. I'll leave you with this.
So be on the watch out for our band of friendly pirates. We'll let you come join us on board. No danger of walking the plank or seeing Davey Jones's locker here. But then again, don't cross us. We can get quite loud and that alone could drive you to want to walk the plank.
Until next time, we're wishing fair winds to all our buckos out there!
